Copy the post link
Open the public Instagram photo or carousel and copy its URL from the share menu. For carousel posts, use the post link rather than a screenshot or copied image preview.
Photo downloader
Paste a public Instagram post link and download Instagram photos and carousels in HD as clean JPG files. This free online Instagram image downloader helps you avoid blurry screenshots, keeps the original file Instagram serves, and lets you choose individual carousel items when a post contains multiple images.

Screenshots capture the app interface, crop the image and often reduce clarity. iSaver reads the public Instagram post URL and prepares the original HD image files so you can save and download Instagram photos in cleaner quality.
Open the public Instagram photo or carousel and copy its URL from the share menu. For carousel posts, use the post link rather than a screenshot or copied image preview.
Drop the link in the iSaver search field. The downloader checks the public post, detects whether it is a single photo or carousel, and lists the image files that Instagram exposes.
Click Download on the image you want to keep. Each JPG saves without an iSaver watermark, and carousel items can be downloaded one by one so you keep only the files you need.
Instagram photo
Save Instagram photos as the original HD JPG file rather than a compressed screenshot.
Retrieves the available image from Instagram with no surrounding interface, buttons, captions or browser chrome. That makes the saved file cleaner than a quick screenshot.
Lists every item in a carousel so you can save only what you need. This is useful for multi-photo posts where one image matters more than the full set.
No iSaver logo, frame or watermark is added to the saved image. The downloaded file reflects the public version Instagram currently makes available.
No Instagram credentials are required for public posts. If the photo is private, deleted or restricted, iSaver does not attempt to bypass those controls.
Instagram photo
When we tested hundreds of public photo posts we noticed the behaviour people most often miss is carousels: Instagram serves a multi-image post of up to 10 slides as ten separate JPGs at the resolution the poster uploaded — never as one combined file.
iSaver detects every slide in a carousel and lists them individually, so you download each at full resolution and skip the ones you do not need. Worth knowing if you have ever screenshotted a carousel and ended up with the Instagram interface baked into the saved image.
Each carousel image is a distinct JPG at its own original resolution — often up to 1080×1350 portrait or 1080×1080 square. You pick exactly which slides to keep rather than receiving one bundle.
A photo exported from a camera stays high-resolution; a re-screenshotted, recompressed upload cannot be improved by any downloader. iSaver delivers the original public JPG without re-compressing it.
You get the clean image only — no Instagram chrome, like/comment bar or username overlay baked into the JPG, which is the practical difference from a screenshot.
For an avatar, use the DP tool — the photo tool is purpose-built for in-feed posts and multi-image carousels.

Useful answers for photos and carousels.
Yes, completely. You can save public Instagram photos and full carousels with no signup, no daily download cap, and no fees of any kind. Paste the public post URL into the iSaver search bar, wait for the downloader to recognise whether the post is a single image or a multi-slide carousel, then click Download on the slide or slides you want to keep. The whole page runs in the browser, so there is no Instagram login, no app install, no extension, and no permission grant required. The downloaded files are clean JPGs — no Instagram interface chrome, no watermark, no caption text baked into the image — and iSaver does not collect a per-user download history. Works on iPhone, Android, Windows, macOS, and Linux through any modern browser.
Yes. Instagram serves a multi-image carousel post of up to 10 slides as ten separate JPGs at the resolution the poster uploaded — never as a single combined file. iSaver detects every slide in a carousel automatically and lists them individually in the download view, so you can save the exact images you need and skip the ones you do not. This is usually better than a screenshot because each slide arrives as a distinct file at its full original resolution, typically up to 1080×1350 px for portrait carousels and 1080×1080 px for square ones, with no Instagram interface — like buttons, comment count, username overlay — baked into the saved image. If you only want slide 3 of a 10-image carousel, you save exactly slide 3.
Resolution depends on the public rendition Instagram currently serves for that specific post. Instagram stores square, portrait, and landscape uploads at different dimension ceilings — typically up to 1080×1080 px for square posts, 1080×1350 px for portrait, and 1080×608 px for landscape — and it may compress the upload at ingestion time depending on file size and format. iSaver does not re-compress, re-edit, crop, or artificially upscale the file beyond what Instagram exposes; you receive the same JPG Instagram serves to any anonymous visitor. A photo exported from a DSLR or phone camera stays at its highest stored ceiling; a heavily re-screenshotted or re-uploaded post cannot be improved by any downloader because the lost quality was lost at upload time.
No. iSaver only works with publicly visible Instagram photos and carousels. Private accounts, deleted posts, close-friends content, age-restricted posts, region-restricted posts, and archived posts cannot be retrieved — the downloader does not bypass Instagram's privacy controls, login walls, or geographic blocks of any kind, and any tool that claims to do so is either misleading users or breaking Instagram's terms of service. If you need a copy of a private photo on an account you own, the right path is Instagram's official Download Your Data export, which delivers a full archive directly to your registered email. Always get permission from the original creator before reposting, editing, remixing, or otherwise using a downloaded photo outside personal reference or fair-use research.
Continue with another iSaver downloader for the same Instagram account.
