Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the iSaver website at isaver.online and all of its tool pages for downloading public Instagram videos, reels, stories, photos, highlights, profile pictures and profiles. It does not apply to Instagram, Meta Platforms, or any third-party site you reach through a link. iSaver is operated as an independent, browser-based utility and is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta. By using the site you acknowledge the practices described here.
Information you provide
iSaver does not require you to create an account, and it never asks for your Instagram username, password, or session. The only information you actively provide is: (1) the public Instagram link or username you paste into the search bar, which is used solely to locate and prepare the requested public media for that single request; and (2) any name, email address and message you choose to submit through the contact form. Pasted links are processed transiently to fulfil the download and are not used to build a personal profile or a saved download history.
Information collected automatically
Like virtually all websites, our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure processes standard technical request data — IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring page, language preference and timestamps — in server and edge logs. This data is used for security, abuse prevention, debugging and aggregate traffic measurement. We also store a small NEXT_LOCALE cookie to remember your language choice. We do not sell this information.
Third-party services we use
iSaver relies on a small number of third-party processors, each governed by its own privacy policy: Google reCAPTCHA v3, which performs an invisible bot-abuse check on download requests and shares interaction signals with Google; Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, which provide aggregate, privacy-respecting usage measurement; a content-delivery network and hosting provider that serve and cache pages; and the media backend that retrieves the requested public Instagram file. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the independent data practices of these providers — please review Google's Privacy Policy and Terms for reCAPTCHA and Analytics.
Cookies and analytics
We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies: a functional cookie for language preference, and analytics/measurement identifiers set by Google Analytics. Analytics data is aggregated and used to understand which tools are used and how the site performs. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and use browser or extension-level controls to limit analytics; core download functionality will continue to work.
How long data is kept
Pasted links are processed only for the duration of the request and are not retained as a per-user history. Technical logs are retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes and then rotated or deleted. Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Analytics data follows the retention configured in Google Analytics. We retain data no longer than necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the EU/UK GDPR, the California CCPA/CPRA or similar laws — including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data we hold, to object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because iSaver does not maintain user accounts, the personal data we hold is limited (chiefly contact-form submissions and technical logs). To exercise any right — including deletion of a contact-form message you have sent us — email support@isaver.online with the subject line “Data Request”. We acknowledge requests within 72 hours and aim to complete them within 30 days, in line with the GDPR and CCPA response windows; if we need to verify your identity before acting, we will tell you what is required.
Children's privacy
iSaver is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information through the contact form, contact us and we will delete it.
International transfers and security
Because our infrastructure and third-party processors operate globally, technical data may be processed in countries other than your own, including via global CDN edge locations. All pages are served over HTTPS with HSTS, and we apply a Content-Security-Policy and standard security headers. No internet transmission is ever fully secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the limited data involved.
Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect operational, legal or regulatory changes; the effective date is shown by the Last updated date on this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Questions, requests or privacy complaints can be sent to support@isaver.online.
Legal basis for processing
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, iSaver processes data under two bases. Most automatic processing — server logs, abuse prevention through reCAPTCHA, and aggregate analytics — relies on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning service, balanced against your rights and freedoms. Where you actively submit information, such as through the contact form, processing is based on taking the steps you request to respond to your enquiry. iSaver does not use your data for profiling or for automated decisions that produce legal effects. You may object to legitimate-interest processing at any time by emailing support@isaver.online.
Your California privacy rights (Do Not Sell or Share)
iSaver does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). Because we neither sell nor share, the default for every visitor is already no sale and no sharing, and no separate opt-out action is required. California residents keep the rights to know, delete, and correct described in the rights section above; email support@isaver.online to exercise them.
